Here’s a fun string quilt

This one is made of string blocks that a member gave to be finished by someone (ME!). I have no idea how it was supposed to look, but this is how it turned out! I don’t know the name of the block or pattern, but it was fun to finish and is backed with a lovely dark purple flannel. It will make a nice warm quilt for a child.
It will given to local charities here in Spokane through our WSQ quilt guild Mountain of Quilts.
Wowwww!!! a light seems to shine from the center. I think this is just great, and if it’s not what the originator envisioned, well, this is probably even better.
