I’m always inspired by the quilts Ann is making and these homespun quilts are no exception!

Happy Blocks
Our Happy Blocks for Maine Project is coming to an end and the blocks will be assembled into tops during the Maine sew-in the week of September 17th. In addition to sending in blocks for group quilts I assembled a couple tops and quilted them here using Cuddle backing donated by Shannon Fabrics. I’m looking forward to finishing more of these quilts this fall.

Quilts of Valor
Happy Blocks for Maine
Are you making Happy Blocks for Maine? I’ve been making blocks to send but couldn’t resist assembling one top myself.

If you’re interested in sending blocks in there’s still a little time left. Instructions are on my website.
From Gisela
She’s been busy finishing up tops and I love how she uses her scraps!
Fish
Ann’s been making Fish!

From Stephanie
Stephanie participates in our 365 block challenge each year and this is one of her latest finishes from those blocks.

Brenda’s Blocks
I love the black centers! Blocks that are sent in for group quilts should have a blue or red center strip but when you’re making the entire set or finishing the quilt yourself, you can choose any color center strip.

From Ann
I always love getting a look at the quilts Ann is working on and these two don’t disappoint!

WI/MN sew-in
This is one of the sets of tops that Kathleen in CA sent us. Thanks Kathleen for the beautiful blocks. Loved seeing the fabrics you used.

Block Mistress Sue Frank trimming quilted tops, getting them ready to bind. Other women are local quilters working and having lunch.

This is a top that Judy Hadley sent to the WI/MN Sew-in. Now it’s quilted and bound, ready to be donated. Thanks Judy!

These were all made by local quilters.
