We accept donations of the following:

  • string blocks made according to a set of guidelines that will be assembled into group
    quilts and donated.

  • backing that measures 64" x 82" and/or a small donation for postage costs if you wish to
    contribute these - this is NOT REQUIRED.

  • string blocks that have been assembled into a top. We will complete the quilt and
    donate to a charitable organization.

  • completed non-string tops. We will complete the quilt and donate to a charitable
    organization.

You can work with a local group to make and donate string quilts to a charitable organization
in your area. We will be tracking project activities so email us photos of finished quilts and tell
us where you donated them. Please include HeartStrings Quilt Project and a heart graphic on
your label. Sample labels can be view on our LINKS page.

To get further involved you can join our Yahoo group HeartStrings Quilt Project and
participate in the assembling and quilting of blocks and tops donated to the Project.
