Wow, a work and fun filled 4 days has taken place and they’re finishing up day 5 today as I fly home.
27 quilts were donated to a veterans group VAST. AL came to pick them up on Tuesday and we piled them in the car.

Vikki from Virginia joined in the fun too.

Bev’s husband, daughter, and grandson stopped by the cabin at various times and we were able to tell them how much we loved and missed her. We appreciated being able to gather at the cabin to continue making quilts to donate to veterans in Maine.
David even took us all to lunch yesterday and told us some fun stories about Bev. Brenda along with Sharon have helped the family sort through her sewing stuff.

Mary from Maine also stopped by with some quilts and tops to donate.

12 HeartStrings quilts were tied by me and Jackie and Brenda bound them and they’re ready to donate to VAST next week too.
An additional 28 tops were finished as of last night with more to come and Brenda and I will divide them up and finish them, returning them to Maine for donation.
Thanks to all who came and worked this week

…. and to those of you who sent in blocks and tops.
