We like to have projects for our Maine sew-ins and Brenda has just announced the one for next year.
We will be working on Sharon inspired HeartStrings quilts. Sharon is a member who lives up in Maine and inspired us years ago to make a “planned” version of our HeartStrings quilts.
These always turn out so great! I’ve made several of them over the years and can’t wait to make more during our project.

If you’d like to participate in the project you can start any time …
- Make and donate your finished quilt locally
- Send in a set of 48 blocks
- Send in a finished top
- Send in a finished quilt to be donated
Brenda has also said that we will accept 48 block sets of our regular HeartStrings blocks to finish and donate.
The sew-in will be next September and Brenda has asked that things aren’t shipped to her until next June or July at the earliest.
