Our guild has a quiltathon every February where members donate tops and backs and the guild donates the batting. We members sandwich (sew or tie) them and give them to local charities. We generally put together between 80-100 quilts that day.

I’m so used to using a single fabric center string that I’ve forgotten how wonderful our HeartStrings quilts look with different fabrics used for the centers.
