We’re busy sewing and finishing up tops and quilts already. Several HeartStrings quilters are working on Happy Blocks, one of our favorites. I’m playing in my scraps and strings right now but I plan on making a Happy Block quilt later this month too.

Ellen is the queen of Happy Block quilts and is inspiring us all. Here’s a recent finish of hers. She’s used 2 different novelty prints for the centers in this one.
Stephanie also has a Happy Block Finish already this year! She used 2 different novelty prints for her centers too.

Oh my! This pattern was just the inspiration I needed! I have some 8″ scrappy squares and wondered how a variety of solid frames would look. Then I saw your email. So wonderful. I can’t wait to set them together.
